Hello there!
Hello and thanks for stopping by here to learn a little bit about ME!
My passion for cinematography comes with over 25 years of experience in not only weddings and events but also in the film/tv production industry. I first began my career working at a film production company in Portsmouth NH and then worked for several years at WMUR-TV before launching my own company. For nearly 18 years I partnered with a photographer and co-owned a company that focused mainly on weddings. In January of 2025 I decided to branch out on my own and started J. Wood Creative. With the rebrand I was able to expand the services that I offer to include video marketing for events, businesses and social media. Getting to know my clients, connecting with them personally and having the honor of capturing their story brings me so much joy.

My husband Matt and I had our first date at 10 pm on a Sunday

Matt proposed on the summit of Katahdin in Maine

We will have been married for 20 years this September (2025)

I am the proud mom to two amazing boys - TJ + Ian

We have two fur babies - Timber + Zoe

I love adventures in traveling + the outdoors - favorite places visited are Costa Rica and Alaska

I have ran 3 marathons, the last was my first world major - NYC in 2023

I have seen the sunrise from the summit of Mt. Washington after climbing up Tuckerman Ravine in the dark

I love to entertain and make a mean charcuterie board!
